Constant conductive

Constant conductive elastomers consist of silicone / fluorosilicone and a homogeneous mixture of electrically conductive filling materials. It can be chosen between carbon, nickel plated graphite, silver plated glass, silver plated copper and silver plated aluminium.

It is recommended to use fluorosilicone as an elastomer when resistance to aggressive substances such as hydraulic oils and kerosene is required.

Constant conductive elastomers are available as sheet material and as extruded profiles. Stamped parts or moulded parts are produced according to customer needs.

Fillers

Carbon (C) mainly for static discharge, best temperature resistance (225°C), best cost/performance ratio
Nickel plated graphite (NIC) used when a high corrosion protection is required, good shielding properties, inexpensive
Silver plated glass (AGGL) cost-effective alternative to AGAL with very good shielding properties
Silver plated copper (AGCU) excellent shielding properties
Silver plated aluminium (AGAL) very good shielding properties, good corrosion behaviour
