EMC shielding and thermal management (TCP) for renewable energies

The aim is to massively reduce C02 emissions and at the same time make the energy supply less dependent on the import of fossil fuels, power and heating.

Photovoltaic modules generate direct current (DC) which is converted by inverters into alternating current (AC) that can be used by end consumers. The inner workings of the inverters consist of many individual electronic components that must be reliably connected to each other. SMD contact springs are an optimal solution for a safe, electrically conductive connection and can be soldered directly onto the circuit board using the reflow process.
Gap fillers are used for the efficient transfer of thermal energy in solar collectors. In this process, the collectors, for example tube collectors, are encased in heat conducting materials to keep the energy losses between the individual components as low as possible. The collectors are thus ideally connected to the surrounding system and the efficiency of the system is increased. Gap fillers are available from MTC both as a silicone-based material and as a silicone-free variant.
Since wind turbines are also emitting more and more interference signals due to the very complex technology, they must also be properly shielded. Housing parts of wind turbines can be very easily connected in an electrically conductive manner to create a Faraday cage. Seals knitted from individual metal wires are inserted into grooves and can connect various elements around the housing. High flexibility and different materials characterize our product.
