Start of professional life: We welcome two new trainees at MTC
On 01.09.2021, a new phase of life began for two young people - their training at MTC. We are very pleased to welcome new apprentices again this year and to accompany them on their new exciting path.
Over the next three years, our trainees will learn all the important skills they need as wholesale and foreign trade merchant and as warehouse logistics specialist.
A well-founded apprenticeship is the optimal basis for the future. It is important to us to train our junior employees ourselves and to bind them to MTC in the long term.
MTC expands product portfolio: Thermally conductive EMI absorbers
With the introduction of the new TCMWA series, MTC now offers a multifunctional hybrid material that provides thermal conductivity as well as a significant improvement in electromagnetic compatibility.
The thermally conductive EMI absorbers are used between the heat source and the heat sink and feature the following properties, among others:
Side-contacting SMD springs
Side-contacting The components are mounted or placed directly onto the surface of PCBs. An electronic device so made is called a surface-mount device (SMD).

Thermally conductive materials up to CTI 600
MTC offers thermally conductive materials that meet the specifications according to Insulating Material Group I: 600 ≤ CTI. The gap pads TCGF-2.0S20F and TCGF-3.0S20F have successfully passed the corresponding test for this purpose. Other thermally conductive materials can be tested on request.
CTI stands for Comparative Tracking Index and is a measure of tracking resistance. The value indicates the voltage up to which there is no conductivity of the material surface. The following insulating material groups are distinguished:
